# OneSignal

This Integration requires Fides Cloud or Fides Enterprise. For more information, [talk to our solutions team. (opens in a new tab)](/content/speak-with-us?utm_source=docs-site/index.html)

[OneSignal (opens in a new tab)](https://onesignal.com/) is a customer engagement platform specializing in push notifications and in-app messaging.

## Prerequisites [Permalink for this section](/content/docs/integrations/saas-integrations/onesignal#prerequisites/index.html)

An owned database must be configured to store OneSignal data for privacy request processing. To learn how to integrate with a database, please see our guide for [integrating with databases](/content/docs/integrations/databases/index.html).

In order to [integrate](/content/docs/integrations/index.html) with OneSignal, you'll need to collect the following information:

| Name | Description |
| :-- | :-- |
| **Domain**\* | Your OneSignal URL (default:`onesignal.com`) |
| **App ID**\* | Your OneSignal App ID. Follow OneSignal's docs to [retrieve your App ID (opens in a new tab)](https://documentation.onesignal.com/docs/keys-and-ids#app-id) |
| **API key**\* | Your REST API Key. Follow OneSignal's docs to [retrieve your REST API Key (opens in a new tab)](https://documentation.onesignal.com/docs/keys-and-ids#rest-api-key) |
| **Player ID**\* | The location in your owned database where you store OneSignal Player IDs in the following format: `_dataset.collection.field_` |

## Technical detail [Permalink for this section](/content/docs/integrations/saas-integrations/onesignal#technical-detail/index.html)

Fides utilizes _API endpoints_ to access the _API service_ for a SaaS application. An _API service_ is the programmatic interface through which Fides can query and update data within an application to access, rectify, or delete personal information. Each SaaS tool will have a unique set of endpoints to enable privacy functions.

### OneSignal endpoints [Permalink for this section](/content/docs/integrations/saas-integrations/onesignal#onesignal-endpoints/index.html)

In the table below, you can find which endpoints are used for each type of privacy function. Clicking on the endpoint will take you to the documentation for that endpoint.

| Privacy function | Endpoint | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **Access Requests** | [Devices (opens in a new tab)](https://documentation.onesignal.com/reference/view-device) | Returns information about a user's device in your OneSignal app |
| **Update or Erasure Requests** | [Devices (opens in a new tab)](https://documentation.onesignal.com/reference/delete-user-record) | Used to erase information about a user |
