# Basic Deployment

Get Fides running in your own environment quickly and easily. These guides use reasonable defaults and minimal configuration to get you up and running fast.

⚠️

Basic deployments are designed for development and testing only. For production use, see our [Production Deployment guides](/content/docs/platform/installation/production/kubernetes/index.html).

Unsure where to start? Check out our [Quick Start guide](/content/docs/getting-started/index.html) for a guided demo with `fides deploy` which automatically sets up Fides with sample data and a complete demo environment using Pip.
