# Fides Server reference

This guide provides information about Fides Server's resource requirements.

Note that the Fides Server runs as a single web process and therefore will not take advantage of additional CPUs. For additional parallelism, we recommend horizontally scaling additional server containers.

These resource recommendations assume that Fides is deployed along side stand alone [workers](/content/docs/platform/workers/index.html). If the Fides API is configured as [eager](/content/docs/configuration/configuration#celery-configuration/index.html) refer to the largest workload in [the worker resource requirements](/content/docs/platform/workers#resource-requirements/index.html).

Fides' memory usage will grow over time with DSR submissions.
